Lighting a Match in America: What's Going On
What is it to 'light a match?' Well, to strike up something, whether a simple discussion or a furious debate; to start a brush fire of ideas, of criticism, of whatever else. This is the United States of America, we love it, we live here, that's why we pay attention.

This is really sad. You know, call me ignorant, but I really didn’t find out about Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl until recently, when I saw this image on someone’s Facebook page.
He’s only 26, and has already been held captive for almost four years. I can’t imagine what he is going through, and I can only hope that he is faring as well as he can be. My prayers are with this soldier and his family and I hope that he comes home as soon as possible.

It’s one thing to be opposed to war, it’s another thing entirely to be against our military. God forbid we come under attack, what are you going to do, run outside of your air conditioned Starbucks and throw your expensive Macbook at the enemy? No, you will probably cower and cry behind those who defend you, American soldiers. But, while you are safe here, you feel fine spitting in the faces of those who defend your liberty. Disgusting.
