Okay, not only as a woman, but as a person in general, it would be nice to have access to “free” things, right? Who wants to pay for stuff?
It would be great to have everything I desire fall off a tree for the rest of my life into my hands. Insurance, contraception, a car, university tuition, childcare, food, a computer, anything.
But unfortunately, the world does not work like that. Money has to come from somewhere. And if I have to pay for someone else’s birth control for the rest of my life, I want someone to pay for my shampoo and toothbrush. If having sex is an absolute right that we all have to pay for, well then so is my personal hygiene and sanitation!
But all jokes aside, don’t tell the government at one of your screaming rallies to stay out of your womb and uterus and not to interfere with your reproductive choices while simultaneously demanding they pay for your contraception. Feminism should be about promoting female freedom AND independence. So stop with the demanding free hand-outs crap.

If a Liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned or regulated for everyone.
If a Conservative is homosexual, he leads his life.
If a Liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a Conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
If a Liberal is down and out, he wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a Conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
if a Liberal doesn’t like a talk show host, he demands that he/she be taken off the air.
If a Conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
If a Liberal is a non-believer, he wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
If a Conservative needs health care, he shops for it, or finds a job that provides it.
If a Liberal needs health care, he demands that the rest of us provide it.
If a Conservative reads this, he’ll forward it so his friends can reflect on it.
If a Liberal gets it, he will delete it because he’s “offended”. -
This is really sad. You know, call me ignorant, but I really didn’t find out about Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl until recently, when I saw this image on someone’s Facebook page.
He’s only 26, and has already been held captive for almost four years. I can’t imagine what he is going through, and I can only hope that he is faring as well as he can be. My prayers are with this soldier and his family and I hope that he comes home as soon as possible.

What’d I tell you about those Jews!
…I grew up around mostly liberal people, and now I attend a college filled with mostly uber-liberal people. And when I say uber-liberal, I mean the kind that sport t-shirts with the anarchy symbol, the ones with profile pics on their facebooks in which they are seen carrying a banner reading “FUCK THE POLICE” and those who would scoff if I told them that I too was a feminst. Why would they scoff? Because I am pro-life and a conservative. Oh, and I enjoy when men hold the door open for me and I like getting dolled up on occasion and not stretching out my earlobes.
But anywho….
And of course it’s not cool to be patriotic. It’s more trendy to bitch about everything and talk about how capitalism is causing the destruction of America and all that. And if I say otherwise I’m an intolerant war-mongering bigot apparently.
But whatever. I mean God forbid I actually say something good about my country of citizenship.
